Golfclub Am Mondsee — Local services in Sankt Lorenz

This is hands down one of the most beautiful golf course i have played. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning, the course itself has generous lush fairways with very well kept but somewhat slow greens and thus the difficulty level i would categorise as easy but very fun to play. I have to say this is a big disappointed golf club compared to its so- called reputation, it’s a shame for his name, not friendly at all. You only need to pay, afterwards no good service and no human’s sympathy ! Very surprised how can it hold such a name! I will never recommend to this golf club!!! Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Technisch ist das Green recht gut. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Lage am Mondsee sind schon eine Runde wert. Für einen „runden“ Tag sind am Ende aber zu viele negative Eindrücke geblieben. Greenfee empfand ich für das gebotene Gesamterlebnis deutlich zu hoch. Die Driving Range ist eine Frechheit für den Anspruch des Clubs. Bahnen 1-9 sind gelinde gesagt wenig aufregend (Bahnen 10-18 sollen besser sein) Gäste und Personal im Restaurant etwas „steif“ und die Gäste z.t. sehr unfreundlich (gut da kann der Club nichts dafür). Gegrüßt wird grundsätzlich nicht aber das ist wohl auch ein Zeichen der Zeit.... Im Umkreis um Salzburg gilt es noch einige Anlagen auszuprobieren. Golf ist kein Elitesport mehr und wer sich nicht auf neue Generationen mit Geld aber weniger elitären Getue einstellen.... Etwas schade, alles in allem bleibt ein schaler Beigeschmack.
