I absolutely love this mountain—whether for hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. One of the best parts about Aineck is that, even when the other side of Katschberg is already in shadow, you can still ski in sunlight here. Be sure to make a stop at "Adlerhorst" for a beer or a Jagatee and soak in the breathtaking view of the entire valley...
