Goldeck Panoramastraße — Local services in Stockenboi

Through the Goldeck Panoramic Road. The starting point is the town of Zlan. To get there, exit Klagenfurt west on the A2 to Knoten Villach exit towards the A10 to the northwest. Continue on A10 until you turn left onto Kreuzner Street. After about a kilometer, turn right onto a road that leads you to Traginer Street. Turn left onto the Stockenboierstraße and continue straight until you turn right towards Zlan. In Zlan, continue to the payment point on the Goldeck Panoramic Road. The journey to the beginning of the scenic road is about 45 minutes. The road is open from the beginning of May until the end of October, depending on the weather, daily from 8:30 to 17:00.

The landscape, which runs for about 14.5 kilometers, first passes through the thick forest. After a while, the surrounding mountain peaks will begin to appear. Expect 10 rounds and a maximum 10% increase on the slope of the road. After half an hour's drive through the stunning scenery of the area you will reach the highest point, about 1,890 meters, from which you can observe the entire area (on a cloudless day).

Vandaag 25 augustus 2024 deze straat gereden. Ondanks andere reviews moest er wel degelijk Tol betaalt worden. €15,00 voor een auto. Ik had voor dat geld beter 2 Heise Liebes gegeten. Wat een slechte route is dat. Het meeste uitzicht heb je vóór de kassa. Nadat je betaald hebt rij je alleen maar tussen de bomen. En die zien er nog slecht uit ook. Ik weet dat dit door een bepaalde kever komt, heel erg natuurlijk, maar zorg in elk geval dat je af en toe eens een mooi uitzicht hebt. Eigenlijk is het enige uitzicht als je boven bent. Maar dan ook maar aan één kant. We hadden gehoopt op uitzicht richting Milstatter See maar daar zie je niks van. Alleen als je er een hele flinke klim voor over hebt. Wij kunnen dat helaas niet dus geen uitzicht. We hebben bij de Zeehut Goldeck wel heerlijke versgemaakte Kaiserschmarren op. Echt super. Goed restaurant. Kortom ....er staat in eerdere reviews dat ze gestopt zijn met maut maar dat kunnen ze inderdaad maar beter doen. Het is het geld niet waard. Wel om te wandelen trouwens want dat kan daar perfect maar dan moet je natuurlijk...

Gegenüber den anderen Panoramastraßen in der näheren Umgebung kann die Goldeck Panoramastraße meiner Meinung nach nicht mithalten. Man fährt weitestgehend durch dichtes Waldgebiet und hat kaum eine Aussicht ins Tal. Das hat die Villacher Alpenstrasse, finde ich, an manchen Parkplätzen, wo man unter der Strasse hergehen kann, besser gelöst. Ein Strassenschild hat am Anfang der Straße auf Straßenschäden aufmerksam gemacht. Das war streckenweise auch gut so. Dank der Kärnten Card mussten wir keine Maut bezahlen. Ansonsten hätte ich mich bestimmt geärgert. Nachtrag 09/2022: Der Zustand ist nicht besser geworden. Vermutlich der Grund, warum keine Mautgebühr mehr verlangt wurde. Die Aussicht auf dem obersten Parkplatz ist dennoch toll, auch wenn das Haus dort...
