Bleckwand — Local services in Strobl

For those taking public transport: it is not a 1 hour hike! It is at least 2.5 to 3 hours from the bus stop (Gschwendt b. Strobl Landauer, take bus 150 from Salzburg). The first part of the hike is extremely doable as you can just follow the road that cars take to the car park at the top. After that, it is a steep-ish climb up to the peak, which took me about 30 minutes to ascend. The views were absolutely worth it, but I would recommend going with a car if you can to skip the first part...

Stunning views. The hike was not hard (around 1h - 1.5h up) and the climb was totally worth it, and not only for the pictures in the instagram spot. Roughly in the middle there is also a bar to stop for a beer and/or snack, with also great views. If going by car it is possible to pay 7€ and skip the firs 6 km which are nothing...

Heute machte ich zusammen mit meinem Sohn Bernhard eine unvergessliche Bergtour auf die Bleckwand. Das Wetter präsentierte sich von seiner besten Seite: strahlend blau und wolkenlos, was uns eine wirklich traumhafte Kulisse für unser Abenteuer bot.

Der Aufstieg zur Bleckwand ist stellenweise durchaus anspruchsvoll und sehr steil, was Trittsicherheit und eine gute Kondition erfordert. Doch die Mühe lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Ein absolutes Highlight unserer Tour war die Begegnung mit einem Alpaka direkt auf dem Weg – ein Moment, der uns beide zum Schmunzeln brachte und die Wanderung zu etwas ganz Besonderem machte.

Die Aussicht vom Gipfel war bei diesem perfekten Wetter einfach atemberaubend und entschädigte für jeden Schweiß. Die gemeinsame Zeit in der Natur machten diese Tour zu einem vollen Erfolg. Ich kann die Bergtour auf die Bleckwand auf jeden Fall...
