Eine sehr schöne Tour! Der Steig führt an zwei bewirtschafteten Almen (u.a. Wangalm) vorbei, jedoch das Panorama und die Aussicht sind richtig schön. Diese Tour ist die Mühen wert. Zum Aufstieg: Start Parkplatz Gaistal. Es ist nie super steil da der Weg eher lang gezogen ist. Am Ende führt der Steig “kreisartig” langsam um die Spitze zum Gipfel. Alles schaffbar - mittlere Schwierigkeit.

Im Gipfelbereich Trittsicherheit und absolute Schwindelfreiheit. Ansonsten einfache Wanderung. Die Gehrenspitze hat ihren Namen von Ger, althochdeutsch für Speer. Davon leitet sich auch der Maennername Gerhard ab, was soviel wie Speertraeger heißt. Die Gehrenspitze begrenzt das Reuttener Talbecken nach Westen und bietet einen atemberaubenden...
