The fortress is circa 15-18min drive from Sheki city centre. Last ~1.5km of the road is off road. There is small parking at the end of the off road road and also there is small restaurant to rest and have some tea, etc. Once road finishes you need to hike for 400-500m to fortress. But then difficult part starts once you reach the fortress. Its very steep to climb to fortress. Do not reccomend for elderly people and families with small kids. Its even very difficult to climb down the fortress. However, its worth the view. The view from the top of the fortress is amazing. Please allow 30-40mins if you plan to climb up...

The real myth of Shaki. Real history. At first glance, it is a historical work reminiscent of the Haji Chalabi. It is an excellent destination for both history lovers and wildlife lovers. There are excellent facilities for a picnic. The castle can be found in trash dumps. But last night we cleaned it together with the youth. Shaki is one of the favorite places of...

It's about a 15 min upward hike to the ruins. The hike is steep so wear proper hiking boots. The trail is clear and easy to follow. Do not bring kids, it's dangerous. It is an isolated spot so you'll likely have the ruins to yourself when you go. There are great views especially from the top...

Took a taxi from Kis (7 manat) to a small restaurant/guest house at the end of the road near the fort. It's just a 10-15 min quite steep hike from there. View is nice but not spectacular. The fort is very run down and thus it is a bit hard to imagine it how it used to be. But still it was worth it.

We walked all the way from Albanian church in Kis to Galarsan - Gorarsan fortress, it was a wonderful walk and hike. The last part was really fun and too steep. If you want adventure give it a try. The whole area was amazingly quiet and beautiful
