We recently booked a week at Thatch Bay Cottage. From the initial booking everything was smooth and all the information was provided in a professional manner. We were given an information guide that went beyond what you would expect from a property management and was more of what I have seen at a concierge level resort. All questions beforehand were answered promptly and accurately assisting me with the planning of our trip. We arrived in Exuma, but our luggage was delayed by storms. We had nothing. Thank goodness there was an emergency kit waiting for us at the home with toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc... The home was stocked with many things that got us through to the morning until our luggage arrived. The home itself was AMAZING. It is secluded on its own private beach. There are only one or two other homes near, but we never saw anyone. It actually made it a hard choice to leave to drive anywhere else. Everything was there for us. Any kind of beach gear, towels, snorkeling, Kayaks/Yolo boards, floats, everything. If you are thinking about bringing it- ask because it's probably already there and in great condition. The beds and linens were wonderful quality. The view here is a stunner. Anywhere you look was just pristine beautiful turquoise water. No boats, no people, just beautiful waves and horizon. The deck is wonderful. We grilled out, at ate at the dining table several times. We spent a ton of time on that deck. It has room for the whole family to spread out. We loved taking the beach chairs and sitting down by the water and even found one of the most beautiful red starfish right there. At night we could see the entire constellation because there are no other lights around. It was truly magical. Even on the times that it rained, we enjoyed just sitting in the beautiful home. It is so well thought out with local artists and indigenous shells. The fabrics on the upholstery and the throws are all very high quality which made for a very comfortable week. I truly hope everyone that stays there appreciates and takes care of such a lovely home. When we finally met Valerie in person, she could not have been nicer. I had been looking at this home for a couple years and so glad we finally went. We cannot wait to go back. Exuma is a very special place and I would feel good booking with Exuma Exclusives a thousand times over.

The villa’s secluded location is undeniably stunning—ideal for those looking to unplug and enjoy a peaceful escape. There was also plenty of kayaks and snorkel gear provided, which made exploring the ocean a highlight of our trip. That said, for $2,600 a night, we expected a far more seamless and relaxing experience. Several surprising inconveniences disrupted our stay. Most notably, the pool was unusable for multiple days. Property management showed little urgency or concern originally stating the pool would be operational in a couple of hours. When that didn’t happen with empty promises, it prompted us to personally track down the owner during our vacation. The owner informed us the pool was filled with high-sulfur water containing particulate matter AND short-term rentals were NOT a priority for them. This was proven when maintenance eventually came to shock the water, however, the floating debris was never cleaned out, leaving the pool uninviting for the duration of our visit. The adults in our group did use the pool, however, our 14 year (whom the pool was intended for) refused to get in after the first time. The issues didn’t stop there. The microwave intermittently refused to work without explanation. We hired a private chef for two of our dinners which should have been a seamless experience, however, our chef spent time trying to fix the microwave both nights. Another maintenance worker came to the house to address this issue, however, the malfunction of the microwave still remained. One of the AC wall units rattled so loudly it was impossible to sleep with it on, which made nights uncomfortable. One bathroom had a shower valve that was incorrectly installed years ago—an issue the hosts were aware of, yet failed to disclose in advance. The Kuerig coffee maker had to connect to the WIFI in order to work. It took 20 mins to make one cup of coffee. “Island time” is charming in theory, but when it affects basic functionality and communication, it quickly becomes a frustration. While the property photographs beautifully and promises a luxury experience, the reality doesn’t match the premium price. With more attentive management, better maintenance and less excuses, this could easily be a five-star stay. Until then, it falls short of expectations and demands an absurd rental price for what you actually receive.

Blue Point Villa is a "magical place"! From the start of our trip, walking into the Villa and taking in the magnificent view to all the adventures during our weeks stay, Blue Point Villa was wonderful. We were first timers on Little Exuma vacationing with the whole family, kids and grandkids, this was the perfect place to rent! Thank you to the owners, John and Rhonda, for sharing their little piece of heaven for a week with us. We cooked in some and also had someone come in and cook for us, we drove to Santanas to eat twice, and snuck down to Brea's for a drink or two. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, we used the kayaks to paddle around the crystal clear water and to the small barrier islands and we made sand castles on the beach. We drove to the far end of the island and the grandkids enjoyed the sandbar at low tide. We hired a boat caption for the day and partook in some of the fun things the island has to offer. We hired two massage therapists for the adults that came to the Villa...so relaxing! At the end of the week when we all had a little more color, we hired a photographer to come to the Villa for family photos on the beach. This was probably one of the best vacations we've ever taken together as a family. We would love to go back!!

My family and I rented the C-side for our first family vacation with our newborn. We were excited to visit once again to Exuma. Unfortunately our stay at the C-side was not what we expected. Driving in the road is extremely bumpy, not great for a baby. We pulled in and the front of the home had overflowing trash. When we arrived the AC was not on so it was very warm coming in. We wanted to put our baby down for a nap and there was no pack and play. We emailed weeks in advance to make sure it was there. I then went to run a hot bath and there was no hot water. The pool was cold not heated.. there was no propane to eat dinner. First the dishwasher was not working and then if you used the dishwasher you couldn’t run the kitchen sink. Heading down to the beach there are a ton of stumps that are tripping hazards. Our toilet was leaking in our bedroom. You cannot open and close the bathroom doors with the mats they chose. The property around the home looks like it’s still under construction and there were still zip ties on some of the dishes. We were told we were the first to stay in the home however a run through prior to having guests was needed. We spent a lot of money and this is unacceptable. We reached out to the manager and no response however when she did come to the home to apologize she mentioned she was off island. We reached out to the homeowner and basically the response was sorry you’re not having a nice stay but not acknowledging everything I explained. This property had a lot of potential but it’s...
