Gladstone Road Farmers' Market — Local services in New Providence

This was an epic experience. There's the main market along with other vendors all around. Truly was a great experience hearing about the sourcing of food/products from the vendors themselves and the food items were so fresh. I was a bit anxious about the crowd as the cars were parked along the roadside, but once inside, it didn't feel as crowded. Bring your bags for toting as it will make the shopping experience easier. Prices are really good. Now to experience the flavours...

1st experience wasn't pleasant. In particular, it is disturbing that produce are wilting and vendors still try to charge full price. There was no willingness to negotiate a better price for quantity purchase - it was as if the vendor preferred the items to spoil in their possession.

Next experience a few years later (2024) was an entirely different experience. I am impressed with the level of creativity and ingenuity. Thoroughly enjoyed each...

Everyone was friendly. The environment and atmosphere was enjoyable. New things to try are offered at every other stall as well as locally grown fruits and vegetables. Also affordable crafts, skin care products, and treats.
