Tala, Amwaj Islands is a picturesque archipelago located in the Kingdom of Bahrain, offering a unique and luxurious waterfront living experience. As a visitor, I was truly captivated by the beauty and charm of this man-made development, which seamlessly blends modernity with the tranquility of coastal living.
One of the standout features of Amwaj Islands is its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters. The island's well-maintained public beaches provide ample opportunities for relaxation and water activities. Whether it's swimming, snorkeling, or simply strolling along the sandy shores, the beaches offer a delightful escape from the bustle of everyday life.
The architecture and landscaping of Amwaj Islands are both aesthetically pleasing and meticulously planned. The streets are lined with palm trees and beautiful green spaces, creating a refreshing atmosphere. Although Amwaj Islands has much to offer, there are a few areas where improvement could be considered. The island's public transportation system is somewhat limited, making it more convenient for visitors to have their own mode of transportation. Additionally, while the community is generally safe, some areas could benefit from increased security measures to further enhance the sense of comfort for residents and tourists alike.
Overall, Amwaj Islands is a delightful destination that caters to both tourists and residents seeking a luxurious and peaceful lifestyle. Read moreBeware of Renting in Tala – Scam Tactics!
Unfortunately, we had a terrible rental experience in Tala. The real estate agent (Anastasia from Property Finder) and the landlord misled us, promising a comfortable home, but after signing the contract, things turned into a nightmare.
❌ The apartment was in poor condition: the AC didn’t work, no hot water in the kitchen, broken windows, and mold appeared within a month. ❌ Frequent viewings for buyers, even though we were told they would be rare. Strangers were walking through our home every week! ❌ Neighbors threw garbage onto our terrace, and the landlord ignored our complaints. ❌ When we decided to leave due to unlivable conditions, the landlord demanded extra payments and even threatened us with legal action!
Later, we discovered this is a common scam: tenants leave due to awful conditions, lose their deposit, and the apartment is immediately rented to new victims, repeating the cycle.
⚠️ Advice for those looking to rent in Tala: 🔹 Inspect the apartment carefully before signing the contract! 🔹 If the property is for sale, expect frequent viewings. 🔹 Don’t trust verbal promises—get everything in writing. 🔹 Check the contract for hidden clauses.
Tala is a great area, but these kinds of real estate agents are damaging its...
Read moreI personally reside in Tala, and though it's quiet and secure for the most part, it does have it's challenges. The gym here is adequate, but fees are high when compared to other better equipped membership only facilities. I find it odd that with the exception of Meena 7, Tala is the only apartment complex that actually charges fees for use of the gym, and is restricted to residents of Tala; at least Meena 7 is a membership access for anyone, tenants and non-tenants alike. Membership requires you to provide 2 passport type photos (at your expense) as well as a copy of your original signed lease. I've had membership at other gyms that require photos as well, but they take your pics onsite digitally, and with what Tala charges for membership, you'd figure they could afford the same type of system. There is direct beach access with a small pool and sundeck. The beach is small and not the type of sand suitable for laying out in. On the plus side, the grounds are kept very clean and nicely manicured. There is a children's play area where most of the compounds kids gather after dark. All and all, Tala is better suited for families with younger children, or older folks like me who don't necessarily enjoy the faster...
