Jumbo Supermarket is promoting itself with cheap prices and discount deals. I actively compare prices for my personal shopping using a spreadsheet to objectively compare prices. Besides some promotion items of the week, Jumbo in general is cheaper than for instance Delhaize and Carrefour, on about the same price level as Colruyt but more expensive than very nearby Albert Heyn. IF one compares Albert Heyn promotion deals like buy 1, get one free or similar bulk deals, Jumbo is more expensive than Albert Heyn. Those who buy house brands will be cheaper of shopping in Albert Heyn than Jumbo Supermarket. Albert Heyn also offers a free membership card and app with special deals, making some price deals even more interesting. In general I would state those looking for the very best prices, will be best of buying bulk promotion deals or house brands of Albert Heyn. The Jumbo supermarket interior is spacious, well lit and offers a more enjoyable shopping experience than the 'storage' feel of Colruyt, but the interior is about the same 'feel' like Albert Heyn. I was disappointed because Jumbo Supermarket tries to promote the idea they are the cheapest supermarket but it isn't (except for maybe weekly promotion deals and even then it's hard to beat Albert Heyn). After visiting the Jumbo supermarket out of curiosity, I bought few grocery items here because I knew I could get a better deal at Albert Heyn which is...

It's not the cheapest of stores, however you can find products there that you can't find anywhere else. You can also be sure in the quality of what you buy. Their freshly squeezed juices are amazing, and grilled chickens absolutely delicious. Everything is super fresh and if you can't find something the staff will always help you. Shopping can be a bit pricey but with promos every week it can be...

Drove down from Manchester to the closest Dutch store possible. 1hr after hopping off from the ferry in Calais. Coolers ready to get some exotic Dutch snacks and food including vla, haring (can’t beat a fresh one but this’ll do) and some cheese! Excellent assortment and wasn’t busy. Decently priced as well since they do have offers on like 2for1. See you in 6 months for the re-up.

5 stars due the fact it is open sunday until 20h Update: Just paid more than I should. I will keep 5 stars because mistakes can happen and it is not fair to give bad feedback for one mistake, but I will have a close look to that.
