Hoëgne — Local services in Theux

Gorgeous place! Good for kids and grownups. Most of the time the kids were or in the river or with us, we looked for mushrooms the whole time. Even went off path to find them!! It was gorgeous but of course a little prickly. Also at the beginning the upper path that goes up leads to a road and continues downwards to a cafe and the river! Perfect for us cause the kids got hungry real fast but while they waited they made a bridge out of wood at the river! I loved it, especially going off path it made everything 10 times prettier. Prachtige wandeling van ongeveer 9 km langs een snelstromende beek. Pad heeft een duidelijke markering van witte plaatjes met een blauw kruis. Wel voor de extra geoefende wandelaar, het pad is behoorlijk oneven. Regelmatig moet je de beek oversteken met bruggetjes.
