I wanted to go to this abbey with my family to taste the beers they make. Before going there, you must book on the internet beforehand. But it is impossible to book on their website. Em junho do ano passado fui retirar os meus exemplares da Westveleteren 12, que é considerada a melhor cerveja do mundo, a sua raridade vem da produção limitadíssima pelos monges da Ordem Trapistas da Abadia de São Sixto no interior da Bélgica. Oficialmente ela só pode ser vendida no café ao lado da abadia, ou encomendada para ser retirada com os monges no dia e horário para uma quantidade maior, também podem ser encontradas em lojas na Bélgica mas por um custo nada convidativo, por este motivo carreguei o Skype e, do Brasil, depois de mais de uma hora de tentativas, consegui encomendar com o monge as desejadas cervejas, hoje você não telefona, fica em uma fila virtual na internet. Quando telefonei marquei às 14h30min do dia 23/06 para apanhá-las e, depois de atravessar o Atlântico, conseguimos chegar às 14h30min na fila premiando um planejamento bem feito. A fila para apanhar as cervejas estava longa apesar do jogo da Bélgica contra a Tunísia na copa, mas foi uma espera rápida, depois fomos ao In de Vrede Café que fica ao lado da Abadia onde fizemos um pequeno almoço e degustamos todas as três cervejas produzidas pelos...
