Very friendly and inviting community. The people here are very helpful. They have a little corner store if you need anything in a pinch. Traveller's Palm restaurant is so yummy. I would recommend trying it out. If you need a tire fixed or your car washed. This is where to come. Few minutes off the highway, but it a great place to...

The Sittee River area is very laid back and picturesque . I swam in the Sittee River under the Southern Highway bridge during a picnic and the river water is clean and the bottom is rocky. The current is not too bad except after rains in the mountains...
