Tharpaling Monastery is a popular pilgrimage site in Bumthang, situated on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful valley of Chhumey. The panoramic view of lush green fields and beautiful settlements down the valley is a delightful treat for the visitors. It is about a 30 minute drive from Gyetsa village. The road is quite narrow yet well maintained.
