As an entire project the teleferico system is great. Especially as a low cost way to to tour the city for tourist. This is a must do activity! At first we purchased tickets at each station. If you do not tell the tenant that you are connecting to the next station they will charge you 3Bs per person instead of 2Bs. There is no other discount for transferring stations. No hop on and off deals. And if you accidentally tap on the wrong line you must pay again. No refund! Otherwise clean stations, clean cars and fun experience. Perhaps one day they will incorporate transfers. We ended up purchasing the transit card, because we were getting annoyed with constantly having to pay each time. For 2 people it was easier to load up a metro...

This beautiful city captures our hearts since day one of our trip. I still can’t believe how amazing it is, they’re using the cable car as a public transport. You might need to adopt the climate at first because of its high altitude and hard to breath but later on your body will eventually adjust to it.

We are absolutely gonna come...

La Paz is a big city but in the huge valley, so cable cars are a good transportation. As a tourist, it is convenient to visit the different parts of the city. The panoramic view of the city from the cable car is magnificent. It is strongly recommended to take the cable car.
