Great day hike from La Paz. The views of the surrounding area are amazing!! The hike is fairly easy starting from Pedregal and ending in Mallasa. On the way to Mallasa, you will face mostly downhill paths and a couple of times it can be tricky to know the correct path. My recommendation is to follow the path in Maps.me.

To get there, you can find a colectivo on the 6th of August avenue, it's written Los Pinos & Pedregal on the colectivo and it costs 2.60 Bolivianos.

Start the hike early in the morning because sun exposure is high in this hike, there...

beautiful day/half-day trip with a nice suprise hidden village. You can climb on the devil tooth rock itself but it can be slippery. Easy to reach from La Paz with a minibus (also a fun local and cheap experience). Take the minibus with a yellow cap and it says Cota Cota. From there walk to Cl. 4 in Pedregal, from there it is about 1-1.5h up. enjoy the...

If you like trecking, this is a nice one on the south part of the city! Just make sure that if you walk all the way up (because you get get up there by car), then DON'T follow reccommended Google path at the lowest level. My reccommendation: start walking in the street were cars go in, in Calle 4!
