Wow, what an amazing hiking tour from Konjic to the peak. It's my first time here in Bosnia-Herzegovina and because I'm crazy for mountains I decided to spend some time in this area. Was definitely the right decision, strenuous and diversified trail with lots of impressive views - in the end I had 49 km and over 2000 altitude meters each way on my speedo. But you should at least plan about 12 hours for the tour from Konjic and not underestimate the hiking conditions here in the Prenj (no farmed cabins like in the Alps and not many reliable distance or time information on the hiking signs - which are also very rare). But nevertheless the trail from the valley up to the mountain was easy to follow because of the sprayed signs on stone along the tracks, so thanks a lot for the hiking lovers here which are maintaining the developing hiking infrastructure here!<3

Zelena Glava (2103 m) is the highest peak of the Prenj mountain. Hiking to this peak is a special experience. The peak can be reached from several directions, the most popular being from the Tisovica valley, the Rujišta pass, the Konjička Bijela valley and the Crno Polje mountain plateau. The climb takes between 3-6 hours depending on which direction you go from. The final part of the climb is secured with a cable as a handrail in places. From the top there is a spectacular view of the wild Prenj mountain and the nearby peaks of Otiš, Osobac, Lupoglav, Erač, Galić Prenj... As a mountain guide I advise when climbing the Prenj mountain, you should be careful, water sources can dry up in the summer months, there is no cell phone signal on most of the mountain, exhaustion or injury in such circumstances can be a serious problem.

Truly amazing place! Challenging and wild, but still the pathways are very well guided! Can’t recommend enough to visit the massif to any mountain enthusiast!
