Mountain Čvrsnica, 2228 meters high, is the highest mountain in Herzegovina. The best place to stay on the mountain is the Vilinac mountain lodge. You can hike to the mountain from several directions. The most visited place on the mountain is Hajdučka Vrata. The highest peaks are Pločno, Veliki Vilinac, Pesti Brdo, Trinača, Velika Oštrovaca... As a local mountain guide, I have been to Čvrsnica many times and have guided hikers and I know the mountain well. I advise you to plan your tour carefully and check the weather forecast when you go to Čvrsnica. The main trails are well marked, but most of the mountain is still wilderness. There is no cell phone signal in many places, save your cell phone battery so that it lasts until you return.

Enjoyed every step of this journey to two peaks of mountain Cvrsnica! Walking path is very dynamic and rich with different types of nature scenery! From deep and humidified woods up to one of the richest landscapes that eye can see. Around 70% of path is covered with sharp stones, so I do recommend hiking boots.

Po popularnosti se ističu Hajdučka vrata ili Mijatov prolaz, prirodni kameni prsten promjera oko 5 metara na 2000 m/nv, Blidinje jezero i skijalište Risovac na 1300 m/nv, Crvenjak, jezero na najvišoj nadmorskoj visini u Bosni i Hercegovini (1970 m/nv)...
