Prelijepa priroda prelijepi dijelovi za setnju i izlet razvijen riblji fond tako da ribari mogu da uzimaju. Negativno je sto je dozvoljeno uvode je kanalizacije direktno u rijeka kako grada tako i pojedinacni slučajeva i time se umanjuje ljepota same rijeke stim da nije uništena i ima dana da se stanje rijesi i vrati u nekadašnji sjaj. Ovo negativno nije toliko kod izrazeno da se treba izbjeći izlet i stanja...

Nastaje u prostoru planine Vranice od Jezernice, Borovnice i Razdolje. Izvorišta su joj na nadmorskoj visini od 1630 m. Duga je 45 km, sa površinom sliva od 727,4 km2. Prima više pritoka, od kojih su najznačajnije Čemernica, Mlava, Željeznica i Lepenica.
