Kamešnica — Local services in Lipa Village

Amazing mountain on the border between Croatia and Bosnia so we have started from Croatian side and crossed border to reach highest peak Konj in Bosnia. Mountain trail is clearly marked and you are first going through dense young forest which is becoming older and finally you reach meadows before peak where you can see islands and all mountains around. It is not too hard if you are ready for mountains. I have also reviewed peak Konj which was our target this time but there are many other peaks yet to be visited. Next we went to Kurtegica dolac (mountain valley) starting from village Gljev in Croatia. There is shorter trail from Bosnia (Rosni dolac) but because borders are closed we had to take longer one. Very nice mountain trail which was some kind of old road when mountains was used for cattle herding. Total distance covered was 16 km as we have returned by macadam road to village next to one we parked but you can reach it just going right. Wunderbar! Mountain is so beautiful. Views towards Bosnian side of the mountain, Buško lake, Tušnica mountain and other mountains are just awesome. We climbed it from Bosnian side from Podgradina, starting from cca 700m. It takes 3h to the summit Konj on 1856m . It was my second time up there....
