I didn't visit this place
But i wanted to share with you this amazing article
WE HAVE A COMMON ENEMY.... Poverty
How can we continue to ignore those who (past & present) occupied public offices, robbed our commonwealth into coma and failed to develop our society. With same loot, they sent their families abroad to have quality life which they believe that we are not worthy of, while in penury and squalor we continue to sing their praises.
It's painful but the truth remains that we are responsible for our pains because we choose to be disorganized and disoriented. Each passing day, we're busy fighting over fickle issues such as our political affiliations, tribes and religion but the oppressors that party, tribe and religion means nothing to, are busy chewing off and swallowing our commonwealth from behind, and encouraging us to maintain the bickering.
Folks, it's nonsensical for an antelope to be fighting with other antelopes over the name of the jungle that they coexist while the tiger in same forest doesn't utter a hoot about such nomenclatures rather very busy in cutting short the lives of the antelopes.
The name of our political party, country, individual tribe and religion shouldn't be sufficient reason to fight, rather let's unite and stand up to the tigers before it becomes too late. We barely entered the edge of the Delta and would love to go deeper into the Delta next time. Our experience was heightened by the possibility that the Okavango might not get water forever because of increased water consumption in Angola. This amazing place will be greatly changed, so go there now before its gone. Botswana is an amazing country with friendly and...
Read moreThe Okavango Delta! The canoes made from fiberglass that you see in frame 1 are called Mokoros and it's your main source of transportation across the hippo infested waters. The polers are essentially the gondoliers of Botswana.
Apart from being stung by a common lesser yellow thicktail scorpion 🦂 at camp that caused my hand to tingle, the Okavango Delta is an incredible location! We roasted Marshmallows, enjoyed traditional song and dance at the campfire and admired the milkyway. The daily game walks to spot animals was amazing as well.
We encountered so many elephants and watched some of the most beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend visiting this place if...
