The wheelbarrow nursery and tea garden — Local services in South-East District

The executive room was lovely with a canopy bed and furniture right out of the movie, "Out of Africa". I would have given this guesthouse a 5-star rating the first night, but I digress.....

The first night was terriic; however, the morning was a sign of things to come. We had breakfast by an amazing setting by the Notwane River.... and my favourable review stops right here. "Where's the coffee or tea, we asked? It's in your rooms." was the flat reply. Breakfast without Coffee or tea? What's this blasphemy....

Warning: Do not take a room without being in a large group, occupying the entire building. The noise another group might make could be a huge deal breaker and an "in-your-face", "right outside-your-door" sleepless night.

The first night was lovely! Our group was relatively respectful to the other executive room occupants, and we spent the late hours of the evening chatting outside on the front porch. When the other members of our group left the next morning, my wife and I stayed behind and took a standard room since all the other more choice rooms were booked. In retrospect, we would not have done this. The next group had multiple screaming kids (5?) and played loud basey music from their car parked right by the front porch. I think I heard the last screaming child and yelling retort from a parent at 1:00 AM, right outside...

If you want to retreat and be away from the city noise and life’s busy schedules, this is the place for you. The place brings nature to life : exquisite: serene: tranquil. You can spend some time relaxing in the garden area and listen to the different melodious songs of birds: Customer service is top notch: the staff is excellent ; professional and very friendly!! The chef does magic in the kitchen , you should try their pork ribs with fried rice and steamed veggies. The guesthouse rooms are very clean and it’s the best getaway!! You have free access to the riverside where it’s more quiet and natural. It’s very safe to even go for a morning or evening run. And they provide events packages like hosting parties and weddings. I highly recommend...

Such beautiful surrounding yet atrocious service. My partner and his parents had barely sipped our drinks when the waitress asked what food we would like to order. We were not ready so she came back 2mins later and asked again. We apologised and explained that we just wanted to have our drinks first and decide afterwards as it was still early. We were told that the management does not like it when people sit down and don't order food as they feel it's a waste of time serving us! Needless to say we finished our drinks and left.
