If you shine a torch into the water you'll more than likely see hundreds of eyes looking back at you . If you drop a line into the water with bait you can have a piranha on the end of it within seconds. We camped for a few days and I was feasted upon by many critters combined with the humidity there wasn't much sleep to be had.
