Locatia este diferita fata de cea de pe maps. Ne-am invartit ceva pana am reusit sa gasim locatia => “The stone Forest”. Arata interesant si cumva pare impresionant daca stii putin ce anume sunt, o sa las mai jos o descriere. La prima privire, pietrele par ruinele unui templu antic, însă pilonii de piatră sunt naturali. Coloanele de piatră sunt distribuite în grupuri mici de-a lungul a opt kilometri pe coasta nordică a Mării Negre. Formaţiunile variază în înălţime, unele atingând între 5 şi 7 metri înălţime, grosimea lor fiind între 30 de centimetri şi 3 de metri. Cel mai ciudat aspect al acestor coloane este că sunt goale în interior şi umplute cu nisip. Acestea nu au o fundaţie solidă, fiind ancorate în nisip.

Din păcate, se pare, denumirea postata pe Google Maps nu este cea corecta. Posibil ca denumirea corecta sa fie Pobiti Kamani. Din aceasta cauza mulți turiști găsesc cu greu locatia. Ma includ și pe mine. În fine, cu puțin noroc și ceva timp pierdut, am gasit-o, este aproape de A2 Sofia-Varna, aproape de Devnea. A meritat căutarea, este un sit deosebit, se spune, unul dintre cele 2 "deserturi" din Europa, celalalt fiind în Spania. Pobiti Kamani se întinde pe aprox 15 ha, dar de interes și de vizitat este o suprafață mult mai mica, unde se afla principalele formațiuni. Taxa de vizitare este de 5 leva, programul este 9-19. Recomand parcarea pe marginea șoselei, pe sensul către Varna.

Significant and beautifull place with lot of history. The people maintaining it were very nice and open, explained the the history of it and gave directions to specific rocks that resemble natural object like mushrooms etc.

Rare and interesting place. Extraterrestrial landscape. One of the few real deserts in Europe, so consider walking on sand during the visit. And the last but not least. WARNING! Happy merchant on the entry will try to charge you for the visit. He does it illegally! He can only sell you stuff, not charge for the visit! If you pay him he'll only tell you the story you can easily find on Wikipedia. Don't let...

Area is pretty big so easily you can spend here even 1-2 hours. Great attraction for adults as well as for kids. Big parking just next to entrance. What i really like is completely no garbage between stones - very clean place and nice sand at the ground. Easy to reach from Varna - just next to main road, no...

Really intresting place. Definitely will go there again. That small treasure hunt game that was organised is really cool way to spice the experience. If you choose to go at the summer better to do it before 11 o'clock, after that is too hot. Bring water and...
