Тук морето е бурно. През август дори и на жълт флаг пак не можеш да плуваш нормално, защото вълните постоянно те преобръщат. Толкова са силни, че пясъчната ивица на места е на метър над морето. Пясъчни наноси редовно запушват устието на Камчия. Но се разходете до там. От последното заведение 'Река, море, океан' е на 20-тина минути. Може и с кола. Реката е пълноводна и се влива доста страховито. Сигурно вълните искат да надделеят и затуй са толкова буйни. Едната те поваля към брега, за да те изгони, а другата се връща от там и те пляска през лицето. Иначе - дръжте си банските! Но пък лодката идва почти до морето, когато се качите, за да видите устието и откъм реката. Има уникални бисерни миди и почти същия размер, но бели и твърди. Морските жълъди са полепнали по пънове, клонки, дъски, бутилки... и са създали големи красоти. Водораслите са малко. Ивицата е много широка. Има охранявана зона с шезлонги, маси, чадъри и тенти и за собствени чадъри, а в двата края е неохраняем. Има съблекални и тоалетни. Към скалите можете да намерите глина. Там има бунгала на брега и заведение, в което правят ароматни дебели мекици и вкусно кафе. Към устието на Камчия има заградена част от реката. Там и на по-спокойната част по брега има рибари-любители, деца с надуваем каяк и нудисти ;) Кучетата бяха в изобилие, но кротко плуваха или стояха до стопаните си...
