Batak Reservoir — Local services in Batak

The reservoir is beautiful, the nature is amazing here, we even saw a herd of horses grazing, neighing and walking around😍 You can see the high snowy peaks of Pirin🏔️ from here! What spoiled the fun was, sadly, the amount of waste like plastic and glass bottles, etc. in the water and on the beaches. People should be more conscious about their waste and not leave garbage everywhere!😢💔♻️🌍🌿 Please mind that the road around the reservoir is only halfway done, we were in a SUV and still were careful not to drive too fast or get stuck. This place is beautiful! The views are breathtaking, it’s quiet with the odd other people here and there but not crowded at all. A great place to bask in the nature, sunshine, have a bbq and play some sports. You can bring your own boat, fish, jet ski. The only shortfall is that you cannot swim in the lake/reservoir.
