Dyulino Pass — Local services in Pomorie

There will be two sides of this review: the convenience/security side and the emotional side. So, if you're heading from the south to say Varna in the summer when the main road is terribly busy and we all know the rate of accidents, you could try the Dyulino pass. And this might be the only wise reason to choose it. Because for the whole trip you will cross roads with 10 cars. The bends are much smoother than the Obzor pass, but due to the terrible asphalt at the turns you might end up changing from 2 to 3rd gear and back most of the time. Because there are very few cars however there is hardly the need to overtake, while driving via Obzor you constantly overtake slower vehicles in a busy singlelane road with thousands of bends. When you reach the main road, the left turn towards Varna might be tricky because of the limited visibility.

Nature however is purely stunning. I stopped at the top, went out of the car and looked at the magnificent sight. Majestic forests, fresh air, you might see some wild animals. Най-ужасният път, по който някога съм минавала - тесен, със завои и целият е осеян с дупки, някои от които изключително дълбоки и неизбежни, и то в продължение на много километри. Асфалтът почти липсва. Преди да мина през Дюлинския проход, не можех да си представя, че е възможно да съществува такъв път. Най-лошото е, че ако се движите от север на юг (не знам как е в обратната посока) и искате да излезете на АМ "Тракия", кошмарът не свършва с преминаването на прохода. След него - след с. Гюльовца, в продължение на 40 км следва преминаване през няколко населени места (Оризаре, Медово, Каблешково, Брястовец, Миролюбово и Българово), в които пътната настилка е в почти същото отвратително състояние като в прохода, само че по-широка и с ужасно високи гърбици, за които в повечето случаи няма предупредителни знаци.
