Rish Pass is a mountain pass in the Balkan Mountains in Bulgaria. It connects Shumen and Karnobat. On the Shumen side of the pass is the village of Rish. The Battle of the Rishki Pass was fought here in 759 between Bulgarians and Byzantines which resulted in a Bulgarian victory.

The pass should be closed for trucks. There are sections were the quality of the road nears African standards - one deep pothole next to the other. Cars and trucks are passing by driving serpentines between potholes to avoid the deepest...

Пътя е в лошо състояние. В средата на прохода дупките са огромни и дълбоки, асфалта е деформиран, нагънат, кара се бавно с под 20км/час. Минах от там на 12.11.2023г.На много места няма маркировка, няма светлооттазители на мантинелите, ношно време трудно се шофира. За в бъдеще ще избягвам да минавам от там докато не го оправят.Трябва са благодарим на държавните управници за това че републиканската пътна мрежа не...
