Lozen Mountain is a small mountain range in Bulgaria. It is at the westernmost end of the Sredna Gora range. To the west, it is separated by the Pancharevo Gorge from the Vitosha and Plana mountains. To the north, its foothills descend into the Sofia Valley.

Lovely view to Sofia and to the lakes in the south. Whole trip takes around 1 hour and 15-20minutes . It's totally worth it. Keep in mind this is doable from spring to autumn. The last phase of the hike from the monastery to the peak will be very hard in the winter. Wonderful for families with small children. There is no place to buy food, water or coffee during the hike,...
