I recently visited Bapha Mall in Varna (Мол Варна) and was surprised by how empty it felt. Many of the stores were vacant, creating a somewhat deserted atmosphere throughout the mall. Walking through the halls, I noticed numerous closed storefronts, and the lack of visitors added to the quietness of the space.
Although there were a few shops still open, offering some variety, the options were limited, making it challenging to find everything I needed. The staff in the open stores were friendly and helpful, which was a positive aspect of the visit. However, the food court had a lack of dining choices, which might disappoint those hoping to enjoy a meal during their shopping trip.
The mall itself is spacious and well-kept, with clean facilities and plenty of parking available. It has potential to become a vibrant shopping destination, but the current number of vacancies is a significant downside. It would be great to see more businesses open in the future to bring back some energy and appeal to the mall.
In summary, while Bapha Mall in Varna (Мол Варна) offers a pleasant environment, its current lack of stores makes it less appealing (and haunted because of the cemetery next to it) as a shopping destination. It may be suitable for a quiet stroll or to visit specific shops, but it is not ideal for a comprehensive...
Read moreAs I was reading some of the reviews, 10 (or 20%) of the people were talking how was the mall then vs. now. Before, there were no closed or gone shops, was the top, now almost 90% (even worse 95%) of the shops were closed. Only 5 shops, 2 ,,restaurants", a bank, a change, a trampoline park & that's it. There is a 100% chance for the mall to be destroyed, & to build smth else. I give one star, because I saw a review abt the toilets that in the toilet paper (in the Women's bathroom) there was a syringe, many plastic bottles in the toilets, & we don't have to forget the drawings...
Read moreOkay honestly 2015-2018 Varna Mall was on top. Now the mall is barely standing all of the small shops left and the place is mostly abandoned, and you know it's bad when urbex explorers like myself have seen graffiti on the bathroom walls. Another crazy fact was that the cinema before closing was showing free movies for absolutely free and now it's closed. If I could speak to the managers I would say to them to lower the rent and fix the infrastructure because the mall is degrading on the inside, if they don't want for it to close after the phone operators...
