We had 3 days trekking experience to the tallest peak of Cambodia called " Aural Mountain". Vana Adventure Travel was organized this trip with the domestic customers. We had very great experience to stay in the jungle closed to the waterfall vicinity, we hiked through bamboo forest where we saw a lot of birds especially the Great Horn bill and fly gibbon snuffing in the tree. On the first day, we hike from the Khmer villages on the flat landscape with the distance around 12km and stay one night at the lowest camp. Next day we step up from the lowest camp, across 13 hills which the distance around 9km to the second camp and will stay one more night at there. In the early morning, after we wake up, we step up about 6km more to the reach the peak and then downhill to the lowest camp where we need to spend around 5 hours to downhill. Finally, we got the local transport support to pick us up from the foothill back to the village and get on car driving back to Phnom Penh.
