I decided to sponsor a child in Cambodia after returning home from a recent trip to this amazing country which really captured my heart. I considered a number of organisations supporting children in their education and chose Feeding Dreams Cambodia for a number of reasons which were important to me:- it is open and transparent about its finances, it has clear policies available to read on its website, it provides excellent information on the services available to the children and their families, which include support and other essential services and it is supported by its UK registered Charity, Feeding Dreams Cambodia UK. This UK Charity is responsible for channelling the funds raised in the UK to Feeding Dreams in Cambodia. This gave me the confidence that I was donating money to a professional run organisation which has control of and uses its funding, for the benefit of its charitable purposes. I have found this organisation very responsive to any questions I asked about sponsorship and they provided the background to my sponsored child. I now receive regular updates on she is getting on and I have found the experience has provided me with a deep sense of fulfilment and I can see the impact their services are having on my sponsored child. I recently gave a donation to enable my sponsored child to enjoy a cake on her birthday. I was sent photos of her receiving the cake at school with her friends and her Teacher and two videos, one of which was a personal message from her - how wonderful it was to receive this!. My special thanks goes to TUN Dong for organising this and always responding to my emails - thank you so much. I do not have any hesitation in recommending Feeding Dreams Cambodia if you are considering sponsoring a child. Finally, I could not be more grateful to the dedication and professionalism of the Khmer team at Feeding Dreams and for all their hard work which makes a big impact on lives of the children they support. A Big Thank you!

I was privileged to volunteer at Feeding Dreams with my twin sister on a trip for our 50th birthday a few years ago. Although we traveled throughout our trip, it was our time together with the children in the classrooms at Feeding Dreams that made this trip very special. We were able to assist the children with their english skills in the classroom and also play and join them during their recess activities which was wonderful. The commitment of all the volunteers and around the clock staff who work together to maintain this organization is sensational. After returning to the states I was able to sponsor a teenager for a year putting her through a hospitality skills development program which ultimately helped her attain employment within this sector after she graduated their in house program within the school. This experience has never truly left me. The staff, volunteers, teachers, and everyone involved in this incredible organization are an inspiration to everyone who steps into this wonderful little school! The children who lack so much in material wealth but certainly not gratitude have left me filled with humility. I hope to go back some day and visit once more. I will be forever grateful to Feeding Dreams for allowing me and my twin to be a part of their amazing mission. The children of Cambodia and their families are very lucky to have this special little sanctuary filled with committed individuals who love and care for each and every one of them.❤️

I have a number of friends who have previously visited Feeding Dreams in Siem Reap and were both moved and uplifted by the experience. Today was my turn to visit and I left feeling the same way as they had done. How can you be anything but inspired when you are surrounded by so many happy smiling children who are so obviously pleased to be here. You immediately are made aware of their contentment by their orderly and well drilled line-up for morning assembly. Such lovely singing and then they rush forward in groups to give you big hugs and cuddles. The children are well looked after by a dedicated, hardworking and passionate staff. The staff and charity appreciate all the help they can get with their goals of feeding and educating the children in their care. I am on day 5 of a 3 month holiday. It is already apparent today will be a highlight of the trip. If you are even slightly interested in helping Feeding Dreams maintain the crucial service they provide to these lovely but underprivileged children then I urge you to get in touch with the charity to discuss how you can be of help. I can assure you that you will not regret it I attach a photo of myself and friend Simon together with 3 Australian ladies Mackenzie, Kelly and Tracey who were awarded certificates for their volunteering teaching aid to the charity

My experience with Feeding Dreams Cambodia has been truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you’re embraced as part of the family. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely welcoming. You instantly feel the positive energy and kindness that radiates from everyone involved.

The impact they make goes far beyond just the children—they uplift the entire community. You can see firsthand the dedication of the teachers and staff, and it’s truly inspiring. You’ll engage in meaningful activities such as teaching, community outreach, and cultural exchange, each moment enriching your understanding and connection.

Also, Meeting so many like-minded volunteer's who have come together to make a real difference is truly heartwarming and adds another layer of richness to the experience.

If you’re considering getting involved, know that the experience will exceed your expectations. You’ll gain so much more than you give, and it’s likely you’ll find yourself wanting to return. Being part of Feeding Dreams Cambodia is an honor, and I can’t recommend it enough.

If you’ve been on the fence, don’t hesitate—this is a life-changing experience that you’ll never forget and cherish. You’ll leave with a heart full of gratitude and memories that will stay with you forever, and each moment reinforces an experience that lingers long after...
