Visited here in October, unfortunately the rain had been bad so the river was extremely high and we couldn't explore the gorge properly. It's costs 6000cfa to get entry and then you have to haggle a 'guide ' we paid him 10000 cfa in the end. About 10 local kids followed us around who then wanted paying!! They were not pushy though at all. Small souvenir shop if thats your thing. We drove from Garoua and it took around 2hrs. But the most interesting is during dry season, when you can enter the bed of the river. At times 100m down the dry river. With very high walls made of stones. You will walk at times up to half a kilometer and see a lot of beautiful and strange things like artworks shaped by water on the stones, or strange drawings.
