What amazing views! It was quite the hike. AllTrails gave it a "hard" rating after all. Wear sunscreen. Poles are optional. Many people we passed weren't using them. Watch for other hikers on the skree slopes. Be polite. Rocks can fall and kill/injure others below. Take your time. Poles were especially helpful on the way down to save the knees.
You get views of Lake Louise and Lake Agnes from up here. Not to mention EVERYWHERE you look is scenic. Photos don't ever do nature justice. It is exhilarating. Once we got to the top, we could really feel the sun's effect despite the chill (Sept hike). Lots of snow on neighboring mountains. No...

Length of trail is 13kms, Elevation gain is 883m(2,900ft). Our ever first for a hard trail since we always hike with kids and go for the easy/moderate trails. Kids are home-zoned for we know that this is an evil trail, leg burner, and quite a grind to crawl, roots as your friend as there’s nothing to hold unto, walk to rock scramble and more. Definitely not for a faint of heart! The most gasgas line to cap it all,...
