We just got back from another incredible weekend of rafting with Hunter Valley Adventures — and it keeps getting better every year!

Three years ago, we started with just one Scouting group and 5 youth from Edmonton. Last year, we were excited to have another group from the Edmonton area join us, bringing 15 youth in total. This year, it grew even bigger — 4 Scouting groups from the Edmonton area came together with 33 youth and 10 Scouters for an unforgettable weekend!

The guides were absolutely fantastic, as always — professional, friendly, and great with the youth. A huge shoutout to Kelly, who is truly second to none. She goes above and beyond not just for us, but clearly with her whole team as well. Her leadership and care make a huge difference.

A group of 5 friends and myself went White Water Rafting with HVA on July 9, 2022. First off I'd like to say I was really nervous, like terrified to do this. To get onto that raft took me a lot of courage.

Shae and Jeffery were our guides down river and I have to say that they were both absolutely amazing. I am legally blind, so have coke bottle glasses. I had my glasses strapped up very well, but did let them know if I lost them I'd be blind. They were so kind and said they would make sure we got back safely if this did happen. I had every confidence in them.

The other guides on other rafts or kayak were wonderful. All so friendly, helpful and simply amazing.

Both of them were fantastic at getting us down river and we had an absolute blast. Not once did I feel unsafe. I cannot wait to go again next year.

It was a great adventure experience yesterday at Hunter Valley Adventure! From the moment of our arrival, Kelly and Charlie gave us a warm greetings and warm coffee, and they were very accommodating and friendly during our entire stay. Our guide John was awesome in all the stories and details during the whole 18 km of our rafting adventure in the upper Red Deer River. We're so glad we booked with Hunter Valley because it exceeded our expectations with so much fun and adventure, so much laughter the whole time. We will definitely be back again and we really gonna recommend Hunter Valley Adventure to our friends and to everyone else. Thank you so much Kelly, John, and the whole team!
