One of the challenging hikes I have ever done. The trail is beautiful all in all. It took us 2 hours to reach the helipad from car park, and 1 hour to reach the summit. The trek until helipad is of medium to hard difficulty, depending upon your fitness level. The last one hour is tiring, testing, and challenging both physically and mentally. The trek to the summit has no regular path. It is all stones, gravel and sand. So it is like 2 steps forward and a step back, as your feet keep sliding into sand. Once you reach the top, all that effort is worth it. The last big challenge on this trail is the descent from the summit to the helipad. You have to go back through that path again but now it's more risky with gravity in favour of descent. Keeping a hiking stick with you is very helpful here. Once you reach helipad, then it's pretty easy until car park. It took us around 3 hours in total get to the car park from the summit, but we stopped a lot for the photos, and had a quick dip in the river to cool down. Must recommend for adrenaline, and adventure...

Difficult and exposed knife-edge for final 50 vertical metres, but otherwise a pleasant hike. They finally got rid of the tea house (pictured from a previous ascent) and helipad - which was full of trash and party aftermath - but the patio is still there. Some people run that aforementioned knife-edge in tennis shoes, and while it's best to not freak out and overthink the exposure, I still wouldn't recommend running it like that (personally, anyway). Be safe and...

Very first hike of the year and man we're exhausted never imagined how steep it was, it was challenging. It was kind of rainy when we hiked up and we didn't get to the very top since it was so windy with thunderstorm. Trail is certainly hard for beginners. Some of the trail has huge rocks which is tricky to follow. The water in the creek at the foot of the mountain was crystal clear and...
