I’m going to Anticosti for the fourth time in 2025. I’ve enjoyed every trip immensely! One trip the guide was mediocre but everything else has been outstanding! The food, service, guides, quarters and especially the quality of the hunting. This is NOT a canned hunt. I prefer to still hunt and the terrain is perfect for glassing, spotting and stalking a quality white tail. Many of those shots could be reduced to 100 yds or so but I like the challenge of a more open terrain. There are plenty of wooded areas as well as expansive burns, fields and marshes. The seacoast zones are beautiful and unique as well. Hunting a different zone each day is challenging and quite entertaining! Though not “cheap” I’ve found the trips to be worth every penny and look forward to many more...

My 12th trip is coming up at McDonald my previous trips were 9 at Vaureal (american plan) and 2 at...
