Golden Golf Club — Local services in Area A (Kicking Horse/Kinbasket Lake)

Showed up for some mini golf, fun little course, then went to book a tee time for the following day and were told that the chances were slim "it's a long weekend" David said as if we had just landed on planet earth. He then said we could probably do 9 holes. We asked of we could add our name to a wait list in case there was a cancellation and the answer was no, everyone else is in the same position as you. I work at a busy golf course myself and on our busiest days we always get cancellations. Too bad, I was really looking forward to trying the course out. Wanted to buy some merch too. The Golden Golf Club is great value for a mountain course. They have lots of specials throughout the week. The course itself has several tees to make it playable by golfers of all abilities. And the views...! The course is well maintained with covid protocols carefully followed. We had dinner in the clubhouse after our round. The weekly specials were fine dining items rather than what we expected as golf club items. We stayed at the campground that is next to the driving range. It was quiet and very convenient. Power and a central potable water tap are available. A shower house is being completed for summer opening. The Mountain Mart gas station on the road out has a Sani dump that is free if...

This is a beautiful course - the only reason I rated it 4-stars instead of 5 was that the two-some in front of us that were apparently members were very rude to my friend and I after our round. They accused us of “hitting into them” when we were merely playing one-shot back to keep up pace of play which was dreadfully slow. Maybe having a Marshall on the Course would correct that. The ladies behind us however were also members and super-friendly so I am guessing the twosome in front of us just had an attitude problem. The lady swore at us and told us to go home and never come back. Unfortunately because of that I will probably not chance an encounter with that type of person again and...
