I am not sure which part of B.C.'s biggest and longest river this review is supposed to cover . The river is magnificent. The land on its banks changes through an extreme range of almost all climates from the Fraser's source near the continental divide to its mouth and outflow into the Salish Sea, aka the Gulf of Georgia.

Overwhelming view of the river from skytrain moving through expo line over bridge, the river is fringed by beautiful neighbourhood, markets, business installations.

The "Mighty Fraser River " is in my hometown. Very beautifully situated in the Fraser Valley and Canyon onward north and also through many rural and urban communities throughout its entirety. There is lots of historical facts about this river including the Gold Rush era in and around the river areas. I live in Hope and it is "OUR" River and lots of beauty surrounds it. Excellent salmon fishing as well. And lots of Indigenous and First Settlers and Chinese contributions to the railway history throughout the entire. Definitely a excellent idea to make your plans for a day trip or next camping trip for the family. Lots to do including White Water Rafting , kayaking, canoeing etc. Also lots of places to swim and take a dip in the hot summer season. And you don't want to miss experiencing "Hell's Gate " which is breathtaking. Situated in Boston Bar! But wherever you go on the Mighty Fraser River you will be assured of having an exciting experience wherever you go. And don't forget to bring your camera to get lots of exciting photos of your experiences! Definitely much more than this to do by just contacting the local city or town's tourist information that you plan to visit! Have a wonderful time on the "Mighty...

This is a go to spot for me. It's called the nature trails in hope. Located where the coquihalla meets the fraser. It's a amazing place. I've kayaked it several times, many people take tire tubes down from the kawkawa Lake bridge and get out in the pool just before the fraser. It's very easy to get out of, nothing too crazy. Very family friendly, of course normal water sport rules apply. Always wear a life jacket and never go unless there are three of you. The old "Never less than three there...
