The "Mighty Fraser River " is in my hometown. Very beautifully situated in the Fraser Valley and Canyon onward north and also through many rural and urban communities throughout its entirety. There is lots of historical facts about this river including the Gold Rush era in and around the river areas. I live in Hope and it is "OUR" River and lots of beauty surrounds it. Excellent salmon fishing as well. And lots of Indigenous and First Settlers and Chinese contributions to the railway history throughout the entire. Definitely a excellent idea to make your plans for a day trip or next camping trip for the family. Lots to do including White Water Rafting , kayaking, canoeing etc. Also lots of places to swim and take a dip in the hot summer season. And you don't want to miss experiencing "Hell's Gate " which is breathtaking. Situated in Boston Bar! But wherever you go on the Mighty Fraser River you will be assured of having an exciting experience wherever you go. And don't forget to bring your camera to get lots of exciting photos of your experiences! Definitely much more than this to do by just contacting the local city or town's tourist information that you plan to visit! Have a wonderful time on the "Mighty...
