Skeena River — Local services in Area G (Morice Valley/Babine Valley)

Our VIA Rail train from Prince George to Prince Rupert ran alongside the Skeena River all the way from the town of Hazelton in British Columbia to Port Edward. It was quite narrow at Hazelton but kept getting wider and wider, with a steady flow of water, as we approached nearer to Port Edward.
