Hedley Country Store is the heart and soul of this beautiful town! I had car trouble on my way back to Vancouver and had to stop unexpectedly. By pure chance, I ended up here—and wow, what a blessing.

A kind gentleman noticed my car and came to help, and then Mike showed up with tools in hand, ready to save the day. I was blown away by their kindness and willingness to help a stranger. It’s rare to meet people this exceptional and welcoming.

After we fixed the car, we stepped inside for coffee and couldn’t resist the baked beef sausage pastries—they were unbelievably fresh and delicious. We regretted not buying more!

Can confirm that the homemade, fresh sausage rolls really are as good as all the reviews say. They were warm, fresh, and certainly homemade. Absolutely the tastiest, flakiest, perfectly baked sausage roll I've ever had. The coffee was fresh and so good, and from a local roaster in Keremeos, I believe. The store itself was in a historically amazing building and we had a great time looking at the old photos and tools on the wall as we did finding all the supplies we needed: food, drinks, and most things that you may need especially if you are on a long road trip or camping in the area. We went to the Country Store while on the “Remember When Tour” while visiting Hedley! We were told from the Hedley Museum staff it was a must stop for lunch. I must say it was really worth while! One of our group was having a medical issue and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. They dealt with her needs above all else! They were great! We all had soup and sandwiches which were wonderful and very tasty and huge. The prices were very reasonable. We ventured to the beautiful Woodlie Park to enjoy our lunches!
