Maple 🍁 Lodge has been a staple in our kitchen for over a decade. It's the only place I buy chicken 🐔

And everyone we know we recommend here. We have family and friends who travel here from Ottawa and Quebec just to buy bulk chicken.

Everytime we travel we are asked to bring chicken. Loads of coolers and ice bags later we always come through.

My brother buys weekly to bbq at work with his co-workers and when we visit in Scarborough we always have to show up with a case of something...lol

The prices have gone up but, the cost of groceries have gone up everywhere so that is par for the course.

The Lads loading your vehicles behind the store (waaaaay better set up I may add than years ago when we had to climb all those stairs at the factory next door) are always very polite and insist on carrying your box to your vehicles.

The service inside the trailer is quick, efficient and the young ladies are always very polite and friendly.

Inside the store the lads behind the counter are always very lively. A few I've come to recognize they are a hoot and make your trip worth it.

The hot prepared food has always been a hit for us and the kids especially love the taters.

The breakfast chicken sausages are amazing especially the maple flavoured.

The cashiers are hit and miss. Some are super friendly and others are more guarded. There is no smile or pleasantries just ring you through without much of anything.

There is always something new to see. I also love that they support local businesses by featuring items from local entrepreneurs in their stores. This is huge and I always to support by purchasing and trying whatever is new and local on their shelves.

We hope this place will continue to be a staple in the community for another decade and more. Because we love chicken in...

More maple lodge animal torture? anyone else getting use to this kinda stuff from this company?

So you want me to buy this mutant looking chicken thats made of pure chemicals than tossed in a torture chamber rigth? doesnt this sound yummy? Folks if you dont care about harmless innocent animals at least consider what this company is doing to your health. If no one in managment knows about what goes on there than it leads me to wonder what else is happemning there not to mention the hiring of maniacs that feel like torturing animals makes them feel better about their own pathetic lives, Sure these pathetic losers likely grew up with no parents or very awful ones to say the least but keep in mind that its these very sames pathetic losers we see on video that maple lodge is hiring and letting them deal with the meat people are eating. if you want to see what your eating when shopping in this torture chamber you can get an idea by watching forks over knives or food inc. Support your local farmers and choose organic over this mystery meat. Sure it looks like chicken but if you see whatsts actually in the meat itself will scare you.

Zabiha Halal fully cooked breaded cutlettes chicken burgers - NOT SO FULLY COOKED

We bought the Zabiha Halal fully cooked breaded cutlettes Chicken burgers on Sunday January 14 at Mayrand. ((( BEST BEFORE 2024 NO 12 EST 331 110248.

We cooked in the oven as per instructions on wednesday January 17. My burger looked suspicious but believed it was cooked enough considering the product states that it is fully cooked.

I woke up in the morning of January 18 at 3am with major stomach cramps. I experienced diarrhea and vomitting until 8am the same morning. I continued to have stomach cramps and diarrhea throughout the day of January 19. The symptoms finally calmed down after eating bead, rice and many fluids in the afternoon of January 19.

I would strongly recommend that you verify that this batch of chicken burgers that are sold as fully cooked, are indeed fully cooked, as I suspect that they could harm other customers and should be recalled off...
