I'm just interested why personal canoes and kayaks are allowed here but paddleboards are not? Is this a business or what? If someone drowns ( hopefully not), that possibility is just as possible from any type of small boat. There's really nowhere to board in Calgary. And it's extremely unpleasant. I feel like a dog on a leash: I can see the water, but I'm not allowed in. And the restrictions are ONLY for supboards. Where is the logic?
