Working with The Bar Store has been such a wonderful experience. From the beginning, Steve and his Team were committed to create Our Bar as we envisioned it and they gave us confidence that they were the right team for this addition to our renovation, when we visited their facility in Fergus.

Early on, Steve came to the house to see the basement layout and discuss our Bar Wish List. Then, a short time later, provided accurate drawings, with all specs for appliance rough-in’s and a 3D video for us to envision it. It was impressive! While the centre section on the back wall needed to be a doorway to a storage room, I asked Steve “is there any way we can make the door have cabinetry instead of just a door?” He wrote back right away and said “This is doable! We’ve done a “hidden door” before; let us have it drawn for you” and in a few days it was done and approved. From that single inquiry, Steve willingly changed the drawing and video to incorporate a moving cabinet, in place of the door. This provides access to the storage room beyond, yet camouflages the entrance, and more importantly creates the symmetry of one fantastic wall of bar cabinetry, with lighting as well!!

They were very patient with our renovation delays, which were numerous, yet Steve checked in regularly to see if we had any questions or concerns. Once they were given the “go ahead”, Our Bar went into production. When Install Day arrived, The Team were on-time, knowledgeable, pleasant and very efficient. As they have previously assembled our Bar in their workshop in Fergus to the specs, they arrive with confidence knowing it would be installed perfectly in a few hours, without a hitch. These guys knew what they were doing, and as they make an excellent product, they had obvious pride in the final result. The teamwork was second to none!

Then, when our Theatre area was completed, we required a Spectator Bar with seating, and as it sits directly across from our Bar, we especially wanted both to coordinate and compliment one another. Steve came back to the house for measurements and came up with a plan that could accommodate our specific requests, following the same design elements. The finished product, designed specifically to allow the theatre chairs to fully recline in front of this bar, met every requirement with precise measurements once again.

Steve and “The Team”, we can’t thank you enough! What a pleasure it’s been having you create these bars for our home. In our long renovation, this has notably been a large component which has gone smoothly from the first phone call to the finish line. Both bars will provide years of enjoyment. I'm so glad I found The Bar Store. They did an outstanding job designing and installing my basement bar. I had spent a lot of time considering other options and talking with other companies who offered bar-building among their services, but when I saw The Bar Store's work online I knew I'd found a team of bar-building experts who love what they do and do it exceptionally well. I quickly got in touch with Steve and he was very helpful in guiding me through my options, navigating my space limitations and helping my ideas take shape. I soon decided to make the long drive to Fergus, Ontario to check out their showroom where I met Alex, who was also super-friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to see some of their bars in person, and to check out their workshop. It further solidified my decision to entrust them with my bar project, and it also made me feel good to know that I was supporting a homegrown, family-owned business. I still wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull off a decent looking bar with my space constraints and an obstructive double-post to contend with, but when Steve sent me the 3D video of the design we'd settled on, it was clear that it would look great. Sure enough, when Alex and Steve (the other Steve) installed it a few weeks later, it ended up looking fantastic. The whole team did an amazing job and executed the vision to perfection, right down to the top-notch stools they also provided. My friends and family have all been equally impressed with how it turned out, and I can honestly say there are few, if any, purchases I've ever felt better about. The Bar Store is amazing! We just had our bar designed, built and installed by them. We LOVE everything! The team was great to work with from start to finish. They had great advice and recommendations on the design of the bar and were always so quick to get back to us on our millions of questions.

I always like to get a few quotes before moving forward with a home reno project. When I was shopping around for someone to design/build/install a home bar, there was no other company that could match the Bar Store. 1- The Bar Store is a one stop shop. Every other company i called said they would install the cabinets, but we would need to go elsewhere for counter tops, electrical built into the units, setting up the keg fridge etc. The Bar Store did all of this for us. In my research I found that they are the only company that does it all. 2- The Bar Store had the best price 3- They are great to work with. 4- They know A LOT about designing/building bars and had the best design. 5- The installation team is also amazing and were very respectful of our home. They also left us a bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch. They also completed the project in less time then we discussed. I would 100% recommend...
