This weekend I was starting my first garden of herbs, veggies and flowers. They have a huge selection of healthy plants, and while you're there, the kids can enjoy a bouncy castle and some ice cream. Lots of adorable knick knacks, furniture, and pots as well. Lovely to spend a portion of your afternoon.
I met Derek, an employee there who was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to educate me on plants, and help me pick out some to make my herbs both decorative and protect them from harmful bugs. He was able to tell me based off my space what plants would flourish, great beginner plants, soil, everything. I can't thank him enough.

   Read moreSince the change in ownership it's sort of gone down hill the last couple years. The garden center is ok but now the market itself is more trinkets than anything else. The little food they do have is over priced.
For example a small bag of locally produced cheese curds is 7.99. At any other grocery store 5 minutes away the same product is 4.99.
How do you justify that much of a mark-up???
Their ice cream is good but again, overpriced. Harry's Dairy offers a better selection and a better price.
