Honestly…. This place was pretty good before Covid. All their booths were full, booth vendors were very nice. Overall great. During/after Covid most vendors couldn’t afford the spaces anymore. Now as Covid is over there are lots of empty booths in the main building. They do not UPHOLD their standards when it comes to pets! My husband and myself own a service dog. And have went to the office on multiple occasions with no one present. Where there’s FOOD no animals should be attending their buildings. Only service dogs that are CLEARLY MARKED with a VEST or any PATCHES. Are allowed. Not emotional support dogs either. ONLY LABELED SERVICE DOGS! They “say” they uphold their standards when they’re lying to the public as my family goes here on a regular basis. Every weekend. Last weekend there was 3 massive Bull mastiff in their back barns. YES THREE! This happens all the time! And no one says something to them! They act like the people who actually own service dogs don’t know their rights. Maybe they should just walk around themselves on a weekend basis and see for themselves since they wanna say that they don’t have just any dogs in there! This place needs better management! Wanna go to a fleamaret that’s actually run better with security and animals with no HASSLE go to the Oshawa one! Better atmosphere all around!

I decided to revisit the Courtice Flea Market for a casual stroll. Despite its size and numerous vendors, I couldn't help but notice the disappointingly high number of empty stalls. We managed to navigate through each section rather quickly. A few booths stood out during our visit. There was a lady with an impressive collection of crystals and a Lego booth in the first building that caught my eye. However, my primary destination was Barn 2. Last time I came, I visited Booth 231, which had a fantastic selection of vintage video games. I had been wanting to purchase a plastic case for my Super Nintendo games, and I managed to find one at a very reasonable price. I also highly recommend checking out Cameron's Customz, he's located outside between Barn 2 & 3. He specializes in remarkable wood carvings, and I'm eagerly awaiting my custom German Shepherd carving. I'm confident in his talent to deliver something extraordinary! I'd say it was a pleasant way to spend a few hours simply strolling around the Courtice Flea Market.

Feels very Amish. This establishment truly embodies the spirit of Oshawa. It's cash only, but the Beef Jerky Guy doesn't care and he'll just give you product for free without hesitation at the first sight of any financial struggle - KEY PLAY. Beef Jerky Guy might not be a great businessman, but he's a great person. Not enough good things can be said about him. He's a lighthouse in a sea of melancholy. If you're like us, and this is a pit stop for you, maybe try somewhere else. ZOO-WEE-MAMA!!! the stench of that bathroom. The shockingly humid air rich with the bouquet of a thousand fermenting plums on top of a pile of the sweaty jockstraps worn by every amateur sumo wrestler to step on the planet, floating atop a lake of century old urinal cakes will swarm your sinuses. Literally the worst washroom we've been in. That's just us though, try it out for yourself. Overall, 1/5 stars. Beef Jerky Guy - 4/5.

If you're looking for an unparalleled flea market shopping experience in the Durham region, look no further than Courtice Flea Market! From the moment I set foot inside, I knew I was in for a treat. This delightful marketplace is a treasure trove of hidden gems, offering an array of goods that cater to every taste and budget.

The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly greetings from vendors and the cheerful chatter of shoppers created a sense of camaraderie that made me feel right at home. It's evident that the community spirit at Courtice Flea Market is strong, and that made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable.

What truly impressed me was the vast selection of products available. From antiques to vintage collectibles, artisanal crafts to home decor, clothing, fresh produce, and everything in between, the market caters to every need and desire. I found myself captivated by the sheer diversity of offerings, and every stall I visited offered something unique and intriguing.

The quality of products available is top-notch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. Unlike conventional retail outlets, Courtice Flea Market offers unbeatable prices without compromising on quality. This allowed me to indulge in guilt-free shopping and discover wonderful finds without breaking the bank.

The vendors deserve special praise for their passion and knowledge about their products. Each stall was run by individuals who clearly took pride in their offerings and were more than happy to share insights and stories behind their items. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and I found myself engaged in fascinating conversations that added to the charm of my visit.

Courtice Flea Market is also a family-friendly destination. With a designated play area for kids, my little ones were entertained and happy while I explored the market. It's a thoughtful touch that showcases the market's commitment to creating an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The market's convenient location and ample parking make it easily accessible, and the well-organized layout ensures that navigation is a breeze. The cleanliness and upkeep of the market are commendable, reflecting the management's dedication to providing a pleasant and inviting environment for shoppers.

I highly recommend Courtice Flea Market to anyone looking for an enchanting shopping experience. It's a hidden gem waiting to be explored, and I can't wait to return for more delightful...

cw: wholesome sign for Vern's sake

Loved it so much you should probably just save us both a lot of time and trust me, when I say

if you treat others with kindness and a good story, they will return the favour. yay country market! 😍

(referenced as though looking from the street)

barn 1 (front) food and small goodnesses the best food (meat me here for cinnamon buns) and don't be afraid of the bird. he only startles you until you remember where he is. 😊 best small goodies in stalls here too. great anime and gaming stuff, cool shines, and a great source of belts, phone cases, and all sorts of good inexpensive treasures sorry the restaurant here can't cook food from someone else's stall though, but I bet that if you ask nicely and I bet C&J at the restaurant will probably find a way to make it happen if they have the luxury of the time to do it. 😅

between the barns: lots of people bartering because it's alive and well here

barn 2 (back left) (small random everything) lots of assorted very nice booths and even nicer people I found a penny I was looking for for a very long time at a nice coin exchange here (too much to sum up. go see! go see!)

barn 3 (back right) Val/Vern best furniture and larger items the back right barn See val, she's on her own, so look for someone busy with a big smile and a small demeanor) if you can't find her, ask Vern. he's on the left half, and has lovely signs, glassware, and just about everything else. too.

I guarantee if you spend enough time here making good deals, you can literally bring a handful of treasures, and leave with a truckload of good times... and better treasures too! (imagine if. you brought a truckload. moving today so I might be there with my moving truck trying to empty it so I can get my junk to people who want it)

trust the people here that they are good but must do business. everyone seems to love this place so much, I lament I did not find this...
