Dwight Market Pharmacy — Local services in District Municipality of Muskoka

The owners must be related to Galen Weston when it comes to price gouging. Stopped in there prior to the long weekend for some corn. Picked up 18 corn only to find out that it was $1.50 per cob. The receipt actually showed as .50 per, but no they charged triple that on the final bill. When asked, the owner shrugged his shoulders in an oh well manner. We got a refund and went in to Huntsville at one of the higher priced stores and paid 1/2 of what they were charging. Will go the Huntsville route...

Last year we visited this store and I absolutely loved it! This year we visited again and needed Reactine, I went to the shelf by the Pharmacy explored my options. After picking a package off the shelf that said $15 ruffly i went to the checkout... the girl behind the counter scanned it and said $40.49 i kindly explained to her that the price must be wrong and I could show her . She flat out said No! I can't believe the mannerisms... Will drive elsewhere...

This is a great little store with surprisingly good selection and top quality meat. I read some of the complaints about the prices at the store. Talk about ridiculous. People, this is Dwight, Ontario. It's in the middle of nowhere, so it's not surprising that the store is expensive. This isn't Toronto. If you're going to whine about the prices, don't shop there - buy your stuff in Toronto or wherever you live and haul it...
