Looking for a getaway that will accommodate people of all ages and their dogs....you've come to the right place at Muskoka Shores cottages. A group of us, including dogs, stayed at the newly built, stunning, Jack Pine cottage. This cottage comfortably slept 5 people and could have accommodated more with 2 queen beds and a loft bedroom big enough for 4 people. The kitchen was fully equipped and modern. The beds were comfortable. This cottage is not directly on the water but has a lake view. There are cottages at Muskoka Shores which are directly on the water. Corina was a friendly and fabulous host and was always available if we needed something. Some of the cottages have hot tubs and fire places. There are boat rentals available together with complimentary canoes, kayaks and paddleboats. Fishing right off the dock. Great for children are the volleyball and soccer games with a large open field to play. There is a trampoline and playground equipment which my son enjoyed. A sauna is on site which I enjoyed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Muskoka Shores cottages. We will definitely...

For the first time in 7-years, my wife and I took some time off and headed out to Muskoka Shores Cottages. We stayed for 7-nights, 8-days and it was blissful! We also got there on a Sunday, so the lake was quiet with very few people out on it - everyone was leaving when we got in.

Walking our dogs (one of whom is 16-years old) through the grounds and on the roads was one of the most enjoyable things we've done in a long time. It was quiet and serene with brilliant views! The gorgeous town of Port Carling was just a short, beautiful drive away so heading down to stock up the fridge was a fun drive.

Karina, our host, was an absolute angel - she helped us settle down quickly and anytime we needed something, dropped everything and jumped to help us out.

That said, the cottage (we stayed at the Aspen) was extremely well equipped and at no point felt like we were missing something. Even though it rained on a couple of days, the Sun eventually came out and we enjoyed every minute of our stay and couldn't recommend it more! Thank you Karina for such a pleasant,...

Our family had a wonderful stay at Muskoka Shores! We stayed in the Jack Pine cottage which was gorgeous and provided plenty of room - also loved the open field area next to the cottage for the kids to play and dog to run : ) We took a drive into Port Carling which is a short drive away and a very sweet small town to visit. Karina, the owner, was a great hostess and made us feel right at home; anytime we needed anything she was always available on site. There is also a sauna on site, which was a nice touch to the property and definitely enjoyed by us all. Fishing was a success as we caught some walleye, perch, and bass. We would 100% recommend Muskoka Shores as a place to visit either with family or a couple looking for a getaway. Thank you for...

Enjoying my cup of coffee lakeside before heading back home as I write this review. Cottage life is the best life!!! We stayed at the Aspen and it had everything we needed. Right on the lake. Need I say more. This is our third time coming. This time with our son who had a blast with nature. Looking at the caterpillars with his magnifying glass, watching the chipmunks running around, playing with his fishnet in the water, it was his first cottage experience and definitely a memorable one. The vibe at Muskoka Shores is fun, relaxing, welcoming. It’s a quick drive into Port Carling and Huntsville which have very cute little downtowns. Lastly the owner. Karina is always available. Sweet, kind and treats you like family. Can’t wait for our next visit!!!
