Incredibly unprofessional. STAY AWAY from this company, not worth your time or money.

We booked two Sea Doo jet skis from this company. We dealt with a man named Ryan who I believe runs this disorganized company. Ryan arrives an hour late then scheduled, didn't even bother to call or keep us updated. When he shows up, he brought the wrong jet skis. The jet skis were in very poor condition, and very dirty. I don't think they had been cleaned in a while, the inside storage compartments were filthy. When he goes to test if they work, one wouldn't start and the other one couldn't reverse. Are you serious. This is a simple 30 second check at the shop before you take them out to a client to see if they work. He ended up having to take both back because they didn't even work.

A complete waste of time. The entire time Ryan was full of excuses and extremely disorganized. I don't think a company can be run any more unprofessionally.

"Free Delivery!!!" - Nope, far from it, he was charging us for the delivery. "First-Class Service" - Nope, being late, with the wrong faulty watercraft isn't anywhere close to "first-class service" to me. "Unbeatable Price" - Several companies provide close alternatives for significantly less. Not worth the hassle dealing...

Great boat, had fun, but less than stellar customer service and unusual policies ( at least in my rental experience.) Having rented boats from other companies I was surprised to learn the vessel is received with just a quarter tank of gas. Granted I was provided with Jerry cans so I was able to fill it up to the generous amount of a quarter tank that they so graciously provided. Even filled it back up to a quarter tank on return. The gas was an inconvenience more than anything and not what I was used to so in most cases its fine. What isn't fine is this clowns lack of decent customer service. When I received a call to arrange a return time I was surprised to learn that I was to return the boat on the earlier than what I expected. In the past when I rented boats in the Muskoka area for the same duration ( 3 days ) I had the boat for 72 hours. So if I rented it on a Wednesday I return the boat on Saturday. Count with me Ryan Wednesday ( day one) , Thursday ( day two ) , Friday (Day three). So when I sounded confused on the phone it's because I wasn't experienced with someone who can't count to three is all. Rented jet skis for several years with Northern Lakes Marine. Rented 2 again last summer, pictures were taken at delivery and I was told they would be emailed to me. Never received the email with pics. Then we took them out for a ride and realized that the ladder on the back had been snapped off of one of them by previous renter (this was within minutes of delivery and we had not hit anything, not even a wave). I contacted them to let them know and they said they wouldn’t come back now but they’ll look at it when we return them. We were charged over $400 for the replacement part that we had not damaged. I asked them to send me the pics of the ladder that they took upon delivery so that they could prove it was in perfect condition when we received it and it was never sent. Very disappointing- if we had actually done the damage then I’d pay for the repair, no problem. We have spent literally thousands of dollars with NLM and will never rent from them again.
