A charming staple in the Peterborough/Lakefield area. We stopped here on our way to our family cottage. My in-laws come here super regularly. A wonderful selection of local produce, baked items, honey and food. They also have drinks, cheeses and meats. The view is stunning when you walk around on the property. The staff were polite and friendly despite some of the out of town folks being quite curt with them. That’s actually something I think is worth mentioning is there is a lot of tourists on their way to cottages and they can be very snappy with staff who maybe are used to a slower pace. I found the staff here dealt well with that and still maintained composure. The baked goods we got were lovely and fresh. Overall this a wonderful spot and the chickens are a wonderful little perk, goodness are they friendly! Stop by here and don’t forget to help yourself to a complimentary apple.

We have driven by this market stand for 3 years and have never stopped once. After our stop yesterday, we kicked ourselves for not stopping sooner. Their food prices are very reasonable. We grabbed a small bottle of cider, some apples, a pie and butter tarts. The star purchase was their butter tarts. Lordy lordy. They don't look fancy or any different compared to the grocery store so we hesitated on buying them and bringing them to our Thanksgiving dinner with relatives. But they are wonderful!!! They are a great size and their filling was awesome. The filling was sweet and extra gooey almost caramel like. Great stuff! We will stop again

Such a lovely farm store! They have a wonderful variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade jams, honey, meat products, pies, and many other treats. Everything looks so fresh and high quality, you can really feel the care that goes into it. We’re excited to try all our purchases and will share our impressions once we’ve tasted everything. Update: Everything we bought — peaches, honey, maple butter, and more — was excellent. The peach pie has become our absolute favorite! We’re already planning to come back to try the other pies.

Even on a rainy day, this outdoor market is a pleasure. D and I had a great time, picked up decorations for the fall and awesome baked goods to take to family this weekend as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Thanks Leahy family and the lovely workers who greeted us today! (June 2023) Great food, great flowers, great potted plants, lovely servers, today we hung out with the chickens and the sand area where the 3 kids just had a blast. Ending with Leahy's chocolate chip cookies wasn't bad either! Thanks Leahy's .... my daughter in law, Julia K, was a nanny for a family member in Orangeville where Julia and Adam still live. (Sept 2023) Picked up corn, cookies and gourds/pumpkins for seasonal display. What a lovely visit ......
